My wife bought me a day experience with Mr Nick for my birthday after visiting Nicks Gallery. All I can say is that it was worth every penny (not mine). Nick introduced me to some stunning scenery around Curbar gap and Burbage (south) where there are some great rock formations!

I was really interested in taking slow motion water etc. and Mr Nick was very patient and show me how to set up my camera and give me tips on how to compose the shot etc, Result Magic! I can now take that misty/milky effect.

He also introduced me to some techniques in landscape photography later on in the day where we had the sun for about an hour and we were both snapping away, until my camera a Nikon D800 packed up :-(

All in all a great day out, and thouroughly recommended for new and experienced photographers.

I'm back again for a tutorial on digital post processing workshop.

P.s Sorry about the ankel Nick :-)

Hi Nick

It was fortunate that I spotted your gallery in Ashbourne and decided to take a look inside. The photographs on display were in the style that I have always liked. Although I've been photographing for many years images of that quality have alluded me. Following my visit to the gallery I booked a days 1-2-1 tuition.

I found my day's tuition with you very helpful, your patience and knowledge will I'm sure make my landscapes be much improved.

I would also recommend to anyone going on your landscape days to follow it up like I did with some tuition on Lightroom. The two courses go hand in hand and are both excellent value for money.

Thanks again Nick for all your help.

Hello Nick,

Thank you very much for a fantastic day on Saturday.

Having been inspired by your website, I decided to book a 1-2-1 workshop with you to reignite my passion for photography. Having been playing around with cameras for the past 30 years (OMG; is it really that long) I wanted to find a source of inspiration and it has to be said that a day at Crowden Clough with you provided it in spades. The weather was initially against us, but in the end in provided the ideal conditions to photograph the wonderful water features that fill the valley. I now have images I want to plaster my walls with. The location also gave us the opportunity to have a great days hill walking with the occasional rock scramble included.

With thanks to your insight and philosophy, I discovered more freedom within my own photography and I learnt quote a bit as well. I enjoyed my self so much I'm still buzzing from the experience.

For others out there, if like me you're a photographer with a reasonable amount of knowledge or you're just beginning, take the opportunity and spend a day with Nick. Your photography WILL improve and you'll end up with some cracking images to boot. Do it, you won't regret it.

Thanks again Nick; a great day out!
Beautiful photo's showing a creative talent. Even more interestingly......a showcase for the Fuji X system and those beautiful lenses. That 55-200mm looks so good your photo's alone have confirmed my intention that this one is next on the list.
Keep up the great work Nick.
