Early start to Anglesey

I had been wanting to go back to Anglesey for a while, and the recent spell of good weather bode well for a good sunrise, trouble is it meant leaving home at 1.00 am to get there in time for sunrise. I hate getting up early but needs must. The 2 hour trip over was very quite, nice having deserted roads. On arrival the skies were just getting light, so I scouted some possible locations and set up and waited. The incoming tide, caused me a little inconvenience in so much as, I lost a full set of ND grads and a pouch to the tide. Note to self don't leave your gear and go wandering off. GRRRRR.

Anyway the dawn broke and it was gorgeous, the incredible light and calmness made for a glorious morning, by 6am it became very warm, not a breath of wind, so we decided to up sticks and head off up the Ogwen Valley in search off some breakfast. Ended up in Betws Y Coed, marvellous fry up in the Station Cafe. Finished off the morning by heading up to Llanberis to get some images of Snowden. A fine day overall but the drive home was tiring. All images taken with the Fuji Xt1 mostly on the 14mm.
